A convenience shop is recalling a sandwich filler as it could cause food poisoning if it is eaten.
Spar has issued a national recall on its 220g home-branded Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich Filler after the product was labelled with an incorrect use by date.
The product has been incorrectly labelled with a use by date of January 17 when it should have been dated with January 2.
The Food Standards Agency says the product carries a risk of food poisoning if it is consumed after its intended use by date.
No other Spar products are known to be affected
The Food Standards Agency advice to consumers, is if you have bought the product do not eat it.
Instead, customers can return it to the store for a full refund.
